Yes è Held yesterday an institutional meeting between the councillor for welfare and health of the 10th Municipality of Roma Capitale Emanuela Droghei, Asl Roma D commissioner Alessandro Cipolla, Asl Roma D health director Vittorio Chinni and the head of the Tsmree (Mental Health Protection and Rehabilitation of the Roma Capitale Municipality) and the head of the Tsmree (Mental Health Protection and Rehabilitation of the Roma D Municipality)à Developmental) by Asl Roma D Enrico Nonnis.
The meeting will è made essential to design the support pathway for families in the area whose children need specific rehabilitation therapies, from speech therapy to psychomotricity, and to provide them with the necessary supportà.
“We know that our territory è lacking in rehabilitation offerings and c’è an enormous difficultyà in the streamlining of waiting lists – explained the ’councillor for welfare and health of the 10th Municipality of Roma Capitale Emanuela Droghei – It is obviously the users who pay the price: we are talking about children who are forced to wait months and months before starting the course of treatment, and their parents who, in order to make up for these shortcomings, go through enormous inconvenience”.
Asl Roma D has embarked on a process of analyzing the needs of the territory so that it can respond with an adequate’offer.
“We are counting on the strong synergy between the 10th Municipality of Roma Capitale and the Lazio Region– said again Councillor Emanuela Droghei– for the resolution of the problems of a varied territory like ours. We are convinced that as soon as we have identified the way forward, the Lazio Region will actà to provide answers to these families”.
L’councillor for welfare and health of the 10th Municipality of Roma Capitale Emanuela Droghei, in agreement with the commissioner of the Roma D Asl Alessandro Cipolla, has set for the end of September the next meeting with the families of children waiting for rehabilitation therapies.
“This new municipal administration and the new leadership of Asl Roma D have inaugurated a path of collaboration and interaction – commented Asl Roma D commissioner Alessandro Cipolla – will beà our intention is not to leave alone these families and these children who are experiencing hardship”.
At the end of the meeting, satisfaction è was expressed by parents in attendance who found an interlocutor in the new municipal administration.
