Withdrawn lot for precautionary purpose medicinal specialty “FLUIMUCIL”

The company Zambon Italia, communicated on July 5, 2016 the withdrawal, for precautionary purposes, of the lot n. 336550 exp. 03/2018 of the medicinal specialty Fluimucil 600 mg sosp. Oral 30 sachets – AIC 020582223 .This recall, points out Giovanni D’Agata, president of the "Sportello dei Diritti," was necessary following the discovery of some sachets of the product under review having the title of the active ingredient outside the approved specification of 95-105 percent.

Fluimucil is used for the treatment of respiratory conditions characterized by thick, viscous hypersecretion: acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and its flare-ups, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis and bronchiectasis.
